ホワイトパウダーを厚めにまとったマットなテクスチャの葉がボール状になる、まるで中央に魔力を秘めた宝玉が納められた魔法の杖のようなアロエ。鬼切丸 A. marlothii に似ているけどトゲや葉の厚みはそこまで厳つくもなく、色味は淡く大人しめでどちらかというと竜山 A. brevifolia に似た雰囲気。ほとんど水をやらない辛めの管理がオススメ。
