This is a selected seed-grown variety of A. asterias , known for its exceptionally large, fuzzy, and densely packed white dots—so dense, in fact, that the plant looks almost pure white from a distance. The story goes that around 1980, Mr. T from Saitama brought seeds back from Mexico, and Mr. Sato of Nihon Cactus Kikaku gave this cultivar its name... Much like the @link card, it shares both its features and origin as one of the two giants among fuzzy兜 varieties. Generally, the 'Miracle' type tends to have smaller, very densely packed dots and more pronounced rib grooves, but since both varieties are mostly seed-grown and can't self-pollinate, individual characteristics can vary a lot.
