A rare Euphorbia from Port Berge in northwestern Madagascar. At first glance, its leaves give off a casual vibe, a bit like a kapok tree, but its trunk is thick and covered with sharp spines, giving it a bold and commanding presence. In winter, the leaves fall off, leaving only the trunk behind. The dense spines often get the spotlight for their rugged look, but personally, I find that both the leaves and trunk have such a bright, cheerful coloration that this plant feels right at home in an airy room—like a strong yet gentle prince. It's a tough species that's gentle at heart. This is a truly rare species, and you’ll seldom see it on the market.
