This is one of the mysterious bushes you’ll spot dotting the plains of South Africa. From a distance, it looks like a spindly bush made up of intricately tangled twigs, but up close, you'll see they’re rounded stems—super skinny Euphorbia. Although "Euphorbia dregeana E. dregeana " shares a similar habitat, its size and silhouette differ: this species tends to have more branched stems, giving off a coral reef-like vibe. Combined with its unusual coloring—a mix of golden yellow and khaki gray—it really looks like it’s from another world. Plant it together with Euphorbia dregeana, and you’ll instantly recreate the look and feel of the South African desert landscape.
