This hybrid has slender blue-gray leaves ending in sharp, dark reddish spines, giving it a look similar to Agave macroacantha. Its parents are Queen Victoria agave (Agave victoria-reginae) and A. macroacantha . Although its name might make you mix it up with cultivars like A. 'Blue Glow' , A. 'Blue Ember' , or A. 'Burnt Burgundy' , its overall vibe is actually quite distinct, so you should be able to tell them apart without too much trouble.
