This new type of agave features long, narrow, sharply pointed leaves with striking black edges. It has a vibe reminiscent of A. ocahui and A. 'Blue Glow' . From the name, you might guess it's a smaller variety of A. 'Shark Skin' , but in fact, it's said to be a hybrid between A. macroacantha and Agave victorae-reginae, also known as 'Queen of the White Thread.'
