紅弁慶
Kalanchoe blossfeldianaその名の通り真っ赤な花をボリュームたっぷりに咲かせてくれることから、多肉植物というよりも花苗としてお花屋さんで見かけるカランコエ。単に「カランコエ」という名前で販売されていたらコレ。分厚くみずみずしい葉が多肉らしさ。ふつうの花より乾燥に強いので、あまり頻繁に水やりできなかったり日当たりの良すぎる道路脇や公園の花壇などで活躍しています。原種はオーソドックスに赤の4枚花びらですが、品種改良が進んでいて、オレンジや黄色や八重咲きの花や、斑入りやピンクの葉っぱのものなどバリエーションも多種多様です。
