This is a strikingly unique variety of Agave titanota, featuring thick, bright ivory marginal variegation with a strong contrast. "Snaggle Tooth" is a dental term for misaligned, protruding teeth (in Japanese, it’s called "ranguiba," and yaeba—pointed canine teeth—are considered a type of it).

This is one of the variations derived from Agave titanota, notable for its unusually white and boldly contrasting marginal variegation—something you won’t see in any other titanota varieties. It’s what’s known as a "named" cultivar, but unlike many named cultivars whose distinguishing features can be ambiguous, the clear characteristics of 'Snaggle Tooth' make it unmistakable, even as a young offshoot.
I brought one home rather late, in the winter of 2022, and since then I’ve been experimenting with different ways to grow it under indoor LED lights. Although variegated plants typically grow slowly, with the right conditions, they seem to develop quite vigorously.
