With striking stripes and a glossy, bright green body adorned in orange-tipped spines, this stylish Aloe never skimps on its look—no matter when you see it, it's fully accessorized! When young, it displays a tidy distichous (two-ranked) leaf arrangement for quite a while, but as it matures, the leaves begin to spiral. Even from a young age, this species can grow over 50 cm wide, making it quite a large Aloe. Originally from the Transvaal region in northern South Africa.
