An elegant aloe with broad, spineless leaves edged in pink—so much so, it hardly looks like an aloe at all! This species naturally grows on the high sea cliffs of South Africa, perched like residents of a towering ocean-view apartment. You’ll hardly find it in Japan, though. Instead, why not consider A. striata or A. laeta ?
