This plant is a close relative of the ever-popular succulent "Jade Plant C. ovata ," but its main charm lies in its round, blue-grey leaves edged in red. The common nickname "Dollar Plant" for the Jade Plant comes from its coin-like round leaves, but this species' leaves are even rounder—making them look even more like coins. Just like the Jade Plant, which can grow to over a meter in height, this one also matures into a rather impressive size. There’s also a variety called "Ripple Jade C. arborescens ssp.undulatifolia ," with attractively wavy leaves.
