Commonly known as the "wine cup." Its unique look comes from the way it grows long stems about 15–25 cm long, each topped with rounded, cup-like leaves—just as the name suggests. It resembles P. peperomioides as well. This plant is native to the mountain regions of Northern and Eastern Cape provinces in South Africa. There's some confusion over its scientific name, as it is also formally called C. umbellata ; both are considered valid, but since a single description is shared between them, it's hard to say which is truly correct.
