To be precise, it's the white-edged A-type of A. filifera var.compacta . Its pure white margin (outer variegation), deep green contrast, and signature white threads typical of Filifera combine strength and delicacy in a way that's stunning to behold. Add to that its extreme rarity—only a handful are known to exist—and it's no wonder this plant has achieved legendary status. However, it's sensitive to both heat and cold, and even experts unanimously agree that it's a challenging species to grow.
