どどんと丸く太いコーデックスに、極端に細い枝をたくさん伸ばし、バサバサと葉っぱを広げる、パキポディウムというよりアデニアに似た雰囲気のコ。マダガスカル出身が多いパキポディウムの中で南アフリカのケープにお住まいなのも雰囲気違いの理由？寒さには強く氷点下でも耐えてくれます。花はピンクのセンターラインが映える白から薄ピンクでゴツさに似合わずめっちゃかわいいです。
