When Euphorbia lactea E. lactea develops a crested (fan-shaped) form, becomes albino and turns white, and then absorbs different pigments to become colorful, you get what’s known as the Maharaja’s fan! While the natural process that produces this appearance is rare, the finished plants are actually widely distributed—even home improvement stores often carry them. Since it’s difficult to grow on its own, it's usually grafted onto another Euphorbia species (Euphorbia neriifolia E. neriifolia is often used). Grafted specimens are robust and easy to care for, so rest assured!
