Euphorbia hailing from regions stretching from Southern Italy and the Balkan Peninsula all the way to Turkey in Central Asia. There’s something captivating about its geometric form. In spring, its yellow blossoms are wrapped up like a bouquet, while the blue-gray leaves add a stylish touch. Somehow, it hasn't yet become widely known, and you rarely see it available—something that’s sure to pique the curiosity of plant collectors.
The name "myrsinites" actually comes from its resemblance to myrtle (called "Myrtle" in English, "Myrte" in German).
It may not look that much like a typical succulent, but it loves the sun and doesn’t need much watering. However, because it struggles with the hot, humid summers of Japan, it’s safest to grow it in a pot. Its size and shape make it popular for mixed plantings, and it could be a real highlight in an arrangement—but some sources warn that it can be harmful to surrounding plants, so be careful not to plant other species too close by.
